Golden Turmeric Tea

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • ½ cup Good Culture Probiotic Milk

Combine the water and spices in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, then remove from heat and set aside to infuse for 5 minutes. Set a small, fine mesh strainer over a wide mouth jar or bowl with a pour spout, and pour the tea mixture through the strainer. Discard excess spices. Stir in the raw honey.

Fill two glasses with ice, and divide the tea mixture between two. Top each with ¼ cup of Good Culture Probiotic Milk, and enjoy immediately. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg, if desired. Any unused tea concentrate can be stored in a sealed airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
