Apple Tart

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry rolled out
  • 1 large honey crisp apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Good Culture cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup plain Good Culture cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp sugar (or monkfruit)
  • 1 whisked egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Honey


Cut the puff pastry into 4 pieces. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, drizzle a little honey, then place 3-4 apple slices, a little more honey, then a piece of puff pastry. Use a fork to pinch down the sides. Brush with a little egg. Repeat 3 more times. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove and flip. Spoon filling over each slice after it’s cooled slightly. Then sprinkle a little cinnamon. You can also fold in half to serve.
