Good Makes Good
Good Culture is on a mission to reinvent the food system from the (actual) ground up. We care deeply about the health of people, animals and our planet, and are committed to a business model that does good.

Path to Pasture
Since 2015, Good Culture is proud to have partnered with 1% For The Planet, donating 1% of our organic revenue to nonprofit organizations driving positive change for our planet and future generations.
In partnership with Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), Good Culture and DFA launched Path to Pasture and is currently available to farms in the Minnesota, Illinois, Kentucky and SE Milksheds. Path to Pasture supports DFA farmer owners who are interested in enhancing soil health and implementing more efficient use of pasture, allowing more cows on more pasture more often.
CURRENT PROGRAM OFFERINGS & RESULTS:
Pasture and Infrastructure Improvements
The goal is to maximize pasture value by improving forages, supporting seed and fertilizer needs, upgrading fencing, and enhancing water access.
Pasture and Regenerative Agriculture
A key initiative is to improve the herd’s pasture access through assessments and planning. Regenerative practices such as cover cropping, crop diversity, and minimal soil disturbance are implemented to promote better soil health.
Current Results
16 farms
over 2,800 cows enrolled
over 1,700 acres impacted

We’re proud to be a certified B Corp, and we continue supporting the global movement for an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy.
Our certification means we have high standards for performance, accountability and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials.
To achieve certification, a company must:
Demonstrate high social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above and passing a B Lab risk review.
Make a legal commitment by changing their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders, and achieve benefit corporation status if available in their jurisdiction.
Exhibit transparency by allowing information about their performance measured against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.
Happy Cows Make Better Milk
Our continual North Star is to help conventional farms transition to pasture-raised, creating a pasture-raised milk supply to support our growing supply chain, while supporting farmers and animals.

Pasture & Infrastructure Improvements
This pillar focuses on maximizing the use of a pasture, by identifying better forages, providing support for seed/fertilizer needs, augmenting fencing, improving access to water and drainage, and improving alleyways to the milking parlor.

Educational Opportunities
This pillar supports participating farmers through educational conferences and/or field days focused on pasture practices and regenerative agriculture, connecting farms to local field days and extension workshops, and learning and sharing opportunities.

Pasture Access
Pasture access and availability is supported through better pasture planning, assessing pasture utilization, and making improvements that increase the number of days cows are able to comfortably access pasture.
