Cottage Cheese Fig Truffles


Makes 12 pieces

Prep time: 10 minutes.


  • 12 fresh, ripe figs, any variety
  • 1/2 cup Good Culture Cottage Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or hot honey
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
  • Freshly cracked pepper, to taste


  • Use a paring knife to make a 1-2” cut down the side of each fig.
  • Press 2 teaspoons of cottage cheese into the cut side of each fig.
  • Arrange the figs onto a serving plate.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme leaves, and drizzle with honey.
  • Sprinkle with a dusting of freshly cracked pepper, if desired.
