Cream Cheese Brownies


Rich, fudgy brownies meet tangy cream cheese in this indulgent swirl dessert. Easy to make and impossible to resist, they deliver the perfect balance of chocolatey decadence and creamy goodness.

Ingredients

1 stick butter, room temperature

¾ cup sugar

3 eggs, room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup almond flour

½ cup cocoa powder

Pinch salt

½ cup chocolate chips, melted

Cream Cheese Mixture:

12 oz. Good Culture Cream Cheese

1 egg, room temperature

¼ cup sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F.

Make the Brownie Batter:

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 stick of butter and ¾ cup sugar. Use a hand mixer to blend until smooth.
  • Add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend well.
  • Add ½  cup almond flour, ½  cup cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix until fully combined.
  • Melt ½ cup of chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time (about 1 minute total). Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl and mix until smooth.

Make the Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • In a separate bowl, combine one package of Good Culture cream cheese (at room temperature), 1 egg, ¼ cup sugar, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Blend with a hand mixer until smooth.
  • Set aside ½ cup of this cream cheese mixture for later.

Combine the Mixtures:

  • Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture into the brownie batter and stir until well mixed.
  • Set aside ½ cup of the combined brownie mixture for later.

Prepare the Baking Dish:

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly spray with avocado oil.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Add Topping and Swirl:

  • Drop spoonfuls of the reserved cream cheese mixture (about 5 dollops) and reserved brownie mixture (about 5 dollops) on top of the batter.
  • Use a knife to gently swirl the dollops for a marbled effect.

Bake and Cool:

  • Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
